Mother Hubbard's buys food to supplement the food donations that we receive and the food provided by the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC. Eggs, milk and quality produce supplement the items that we receive from other sources.

Good food donations include Cereal, Fruit, Canned Goods, Dried Beans and othe non-perishable items

Please do not donate food items that require refrigeration or freezing.

Non-perishable food donations can be brought to the 4th street side door of Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, (directly across from 501 N. 4th St), on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 2:00 and 2:45 PM or by appointment. Please leave a message at 910-762-2199 to arrange an appointment for donations. Park in the indicated loading zone and bring the food to the donations door, ring the bell, and a volunteer will direct you from there.
